Our Everyday Carry – Level 1 event is designed for students who understand firearm safety, want to improve their shooting skills and are looking to build their skillset with a pistol. This event is for shooters who are tired of training from a static position and/or don’t have the opportunity to practice from the holster.
Each class, we will focus on a different topic, and you’ll get an opportunity to challenge yourself with a variety of shooting drills while learning real-word defensive skills. No matter what your skill level is, we will identify ways for you to improve your shooting fundamentals, handgun manipulations, and critical thinking skills.
This class is a must if you already carry a firearm or are looking to learn lawful self-defense skills with a pistol. Just a few of the topics we cover each week are shoot/no shoot situations, safe and effective drawing/reholstering, utilizing cover, moving and shooting, and much more.
Every two (2) to three (3) months, we will hold a qualification course. Those who are successful in passing the qualification are eligible to partake in Everyday Carry – Level 2.
Required prerequisites: Strong understanding of firearm safety.
Required equipment: Reliable pistol, 2 magazines, OWB Kydex holster, sturdy belt, eye and ear protection, 150 rounds,
