This eight (8) hour class teaches students the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; rifle parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest, prone, sitting, standing, and kneeling positions; cleaning, and continued opportunities for skill development.
This is a great beginner rifle class to learn the basics or refresh your skills. This class is also a prerequisite to be an NRA Certified Rifle Instructor.
Your class payment includes use of a 22-caliber rifle, 22 caliber ammunition, eye and ear protection, and targets, free of charge. Students can also bring their own firearm, ammunition and gear.
We do NOT provide free ammunition larger than .22 caliber if you bring your own rifle (approximately 100 rounds required) and ammunition can be purchased in the store.
